It’s 2022, which means activewear and leisurewear are much more than attire for the gym. These styles have recently become some of the most popular trends in fashion. Traditionally, leggings, sweats, and most types of comfortable clothing were reserved for home or at the gym and today’s trends have normalized these for everyday wear such as running errands, traveling, or having a productive day at home. With that being said, the prices of this type of clothing have skyrocketed! I will say, I am super picky about my activewear, as it has to be good for the gym AND comfortable for my everyday life (LOL). There is such a wide variety of activewear, and a million brands/styles to choose from, and I feel like I have finally found my favorites. I do love the high-end, pricier brands, but I would definitely say that there are PLENTY of other options that won’t hurt your wallet.
ALL ABOUT SENITA:
One of my favorite brands that I just recently stumbled upon is Senita Athletics. Senita is actually a family-owned business that has been flooding the internet and has become so popular! The CEO, Liz, claimed that her inspiration for Senita came from frustration of how overpriced athletic wear was if you wanted something of good quality. The creators of Senita design their products in house in Arizona, and by cutting out the middleman, they are able to price their products for a WAY better price than competitors in their market. I feel like I have seen so many businesses doing this lately, which is awesome because we are able to purchase high-quality products at such low prices.
THE VERDICT:
I fell in love with Senita’s products, even before actually purchasing them. Their website is filled with so many styles to choose from and SO many different colors and prints. Ultimately, I decided to just test out one pair of leggings and a sports bra, and see how I liked them before ordering more. Let me just say that, that didn’t last long at all! As soon as my package was delivered and I tried on my new outfit, I was OBSESSED and needed everything I could get my hands on. The material is seriously so soft and it feels like I am lounging on a cloud. What I personally love about Senita, is that the fabric is thick and durable, while still being stretchy and not at all restricting.
Overall, I was super happy with Senita and this is definitely going to be one of my go-to activewear brands. These products are great quality, and aren’t see-through at all which is very important for sweaty days at the gym! There are so many timeless colors to choose from that will never go out of style, even with trends rapidly evolving. Another factor that sold me, is the waist band on these products are so flattering and the rise on the leggings and shorts is perfect! We can’t justify paying crazy money for athletic wear when Senita exists! LOVE.
