Meet The Kitsch Satin Sleep Set!
With many of my days spent at home in the last year or so, I feel like I get SO excited over anything that may make my daily routine a little more exciting. My newest purchase of the Kitsch Satin Sleep Set definitely elevated my normally boring nighttime routine AND brought a whole new meaning to “beauty sleep”. No one has ever had to convince me to go to bed, as I love my beauty sleep, but this just makes me even more excited!
If you love all things beauty, you have probably heard about the benefits of silky pillowcases and what they can do for your hair and skin. If not, let me be the first to tell you! Satin pillowcases are known to be preventative for wrinkles since they have very little friction, which means less tugging at the skin. They also do not absorb moisture the way that, say, cotton does, so your skin and hair will be able to retain the moisture. Satin pillowcases also keep your hair from becoming tangled or frizzy, which in turn will get healthier and less damaged hair.
These pillowcases are known to cost an arm and a leg, and while I love my beauty sleep, I’ve never been willing to spend the kind of money to get one! It is so affordable and in my opinion, a lot cuter than its (overpriced) competitors
It’s been a few months since I purchased the Kitsch Sleep Set, and I have noticed that my normally crazy and unruly hair has become much more manageable. In the past, even when my hair wasn't totally dirty, I still found myself washing it simply because I woke up and it was all over the place. Since using the satin pillowcase, my hair doesn’t get greasy as quickly and it stays smooth and soft for days after I wash it. My hairdresser even mentioned that I have significantly less breakage!
If you’re a light sleeper like I am, you need the eye mask ASAP. Since using it, I sleep all the way through the night and don’t wake up until my alarm goes off. A perk that came from the eye mask that I feel like most people don’t mention, is that it actually helps me fall asleep. If I have the eye mask on, it prevents me from tossing and turning and checking my phone a million times before finally deciding it’s time for bed. The satin eye mask also helps with under-eye bags and is great for eyelash extensions! I pull my hair up into the satin scrunchie and put my eye mask on and I’m asleep as soon as my head hits my (satin) pillow!
